HAPPY HAPPY 17TH BIRTHDAY TO HUANG XINYI, our dedicated classreasurer!

Okay, today's celebration had been a blast, let's hope we've scared + touched xinyi!

Congratulations to Mr Mok for going through the stressful + torturous lesson with the principal and the other female teacher sitting in! And thank you for keeping the cake in the staff room's fridge.

Plus great thanks goes to siowyun for buying the cake and bringing it home in an extremely awkward manner the day before and running all over the canteen to get a lighter!

Plus plus great thanks also, to jiajin and victor for meeting up with Mr Mok to collect the cake.

Plus plus plus great thanks to natalie and jonathan for ganging up to trick xinyi and all that!

Plus plus plus plus great thanks to the guy pianists at the piano who played for us happy birthday (THOUGH WE DIDN'T EVEN SING ACCORDING TO THE RHYTHM)

HUMANS!

I know that this week has been an extremely trying period for all of us, and so is next week, and the next next week, all the way until november when PW officially ends and promos are finished and done with.
But do continue to persist and, not to forget, de-stress a little in between your study periods.

Just remember: YOU'RE NOT IN THIS ALONE! 31/08 will pull through these two years as a bonded mugger class! LET'S JIAYOU ALTOGETHER! :D

And remember to be mindful of your health amidst all the stress, which is EXTREMELY important!
Rest well and eat well!

Take care all!

Hello HUMANS!
Went for the NYAA briefing today and according to them, we can actually use our SL project to fulfill the service criteria, just that for silver, it has to be carried out for an entire span of 6months, 30hours(i don't know what's for gold). So hopefully this information answers some of your doubts you've had for the past few weeks.

Maybe you all might like to consider what you all would like to do for the community, like helping the children, teaching the children, visiting the old folks etc. so that we can at least have a rough idea what kind of organisations we'd like to serve. Jonathantan suggested SPCA, any comments? START CRACKING YOUR BRAINS HUMANS!

Dear 31/08,

Thank you to the team of boys for the effort put in! Sounds like a really tough fight that really toughens up the friendship. Well said, Jon!

I am currently struggling very hard to mark your PI drafts. In order to mark conscientiously, I may not be able to finish marking all. Just to keep you all mentally prepared...

Btw, I'm thinking of using this blog-space to discuss PW. i.e. making this a class-cum-PW blog. What do you think? Or should we start another blog? Because I'd just started a Chinese blog for the Chinese students in the class...! :) Talk about blog-craze! If I were you, I won't want to bookmark so many urls right? Hence my proposal to merge class blog with PW blog.

Would like to hear your views before any concrete plans. Tag...

Hi all! I'm posting this here to thank myself, Tse Wei, Kelvin, Joseph and Victor for staying back super damn late today to represent our class in the 4x400m! Although we didn't make it into the finals, I'm really touched by the enthusiasim and resilience they showed (despite the fact we ran till our butts cramped - personal experience). Special thanks to Tse Wei for travelling all the way back home and back to AJ to get his PE attrire for himself and Kelvin, and for Joseph for being ok to using the super old pe pants which has been lying for dunno how long in the boys toilet (supposedly before the PAE) because he didn't have any. And although Victor didn't run, must thank him for giving us his moral support and keeping watch over our bags. Thanks a lot guys for being willing to stay back till 730 to represent our class! Medals are nice to win, but end of the day the friendships forged is something no amount of medals can equal it!

btw im JonTan..yah

Neeway neeway, according to YIXIANG, KENNY IS DISCHARGED FROM HOSPITAL ALREADY! But he wouldn't be coming back to school this week because he needs to rest and all that, so perhaps next week? WE MUST PREPARE SOMETHING FOR HIM! Like a WELCOME BACK CELEBRATION! OMG THIS IS SUPER EXCITING PLEASE! Okay, so think about it and I'll ask you all again then!

Remember to bring your INDIVIDUAL PHOTO for the class notice board! CLASS SPIRIT PEOPLE! Do your part for the class and make Natalie's job easier! Also come up with suggestions to make the classroom more vibrant or you can even suggest hilarious themes and stuff.

6:25 PM

Hey class 31/08,

Thank you Joyce and her team for the nice work done! I'm impressed! It must have been alot of effort put into making this blog. I'm also glad everyone contributed in one way or another. Jonathan, those photos were magnificent! Wish I was there! COngrats to your choir victory :)

I know there's some discussion about changing the blog skin. Actually, I must admit I did have a 'shock' when I see the blog--I was expecting a more formal, normal looking blog that I'm more used to (I keep a personal blog myself, and if you happen to chance upon it you'd roughly know my style and taste). So I wasn't expecting this--haha! :D

Anyway, I really don't wish to kill off your creativity. I just hope the link to the blog posts can be more obvious (I was clicking all over the place until I finally found the PEN), the background less loud so that I can read better, and the overall feel more formal so that announcements can be taken more seriously.

It'll be a platform of communication for the class, so ideally it should be very user-friendly ;) [in my case, idiot-proof]. [Spare your older generational me! :D]

Otherwise, everything is great! Keep the tagboard rollin'!
